Inter RAO launches 22 bln rbl Zatonskaya plant in Ufa

UFA, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Russian power holding Inter RAO on Tuesday launched a 22 billion ruble Zatonskaya TETs thermal power plant in Ufa that comprises two power units with a combined electric power capacity of 440 megawatts and thermal power capacity of 290 gigacalories per hour.

Construction of the Zatonskaya TETs started in late 2008 and was frozen in 2010 due to the lack of a mechanism for return of investment. Inter RAO received the project in 2012 together with generating assets of Bashkirenergo and resumed construction of the facility in 2015.
